Song of the Elements

water teaches flexibility and power

earth expresses firmness and balance

air sings of intelligence and bravery

fire speaks of action and growth

--yung pueblo

My wife recently shared this passage by one of her favorite poets, yung pueblo. Notice how beautifully and succinctly it encapsulates the essence of our four sustaining elements: water, earth, air and fire.

Join me in honoring the elements through a series of short practices I've designed that incorporate ceremonial cacao and the tarot with its corresponding suits of cups, pentacles, swords and wands.

Be sure to prepare a warm beverage (cacao, tea, chai, matcha, golden milk...your pick), set up a small altar if that is part of your practice and settle into a comfy position on a cushion or bolster for about 15 minutes as I guide you on this elemental experience.

I appreciate your energy and presence as we journey together in sacred space.

You can find the video here on the site of Embue Cacao, my favorite and most trusted brand of ceremonial cacao.

I've tried all of their products (and many others on the market in order to compare various factors) and for me personally, the medicine of their single-origin Guatemala cacao comes through strongly and clearly, allowing me to commune with her spirit every time I sit and drop fully into my body.

This feminine essence has really been a supportive ally for my inner work, relationship, creativity, heart opening and so much more over the course of this year. I'll be sure to elaborate in a future post.

In the meantime, if you're interested in purchasing one-pound bags or bars of ceremonial cacao, or even enrolling in the life-changing 6-week "Into the Heart" course, please have a look around the website. (I share openly that I am an affiliate with Embue after having spent much time nurturing a relationship with it.)

Enjoy the meditation and thank you for supporting the gentle energy of cacao in these ungrounding times and for savoring the beauty and wisdom of our four elements.

to the fire, water, earth and air that sustain you,

xx Kristin
